My Millennial Message on The Chelsea Krost Show: December 5th, 2012

With statistics so startling like every 2 minutes a woman is sexually assaulted in the U.S and girls between ages 19-26 are at the highest risk for being sexual abused. It is so clear that we need continue to spread awareness and continue to educate the Millennial Generation on the importance of speaking up if you have been a victim of sexual or domestic abuse, or know someone who is in an abusive relationship. Please know that you are not a lone and that there are incredible organizations like Clean Slate Diaries to go to for guidance, support, and inspiration to overcome the pain. Use your voice to speak up, you do not deserve to be punished for the cruel act that has happened to you. Your story may help another victim like Renee DeVesty and Kyllian Warman’s story has helped other women. Thank you so much ladies for sharing your experience on The Chelsea Krost Show. It was riveting and inspiring to hear how strong both of you are even though you have experienced something so terrible.

Rebecca Moore you are such a special woman and one who deserves to be recognized. Your hard work and dedication to your students is truly phenomenal. Rebecca’s program THINK THURSDAY can help prevent many students from landing in trouble from Sexting.
