Digital Natives – Meet the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and $500 Gift Card Sweepstakes

With Summer soon coming to an end and Fall fast approaching, a re-fresh in technology for the “Back-to-School or Back-to-Work” grind is a great idea. I took a drive to Venice Beach to the Microsoft Connected Campus Event #MSFTCC, which showcased some of Microsoft’s newest technology. Aside from the awesome event location on Abbot Kinney and the schmorgus-board of food, the display of technology was insane. Microsoft set up four stations with different devices so that you could hop from one section to the next where you could learn about each device from a Microsoft employee, interact with the device, and ask as many questions as you wanted.

There is so much great technology out there, but it is about finding the best device for you! Therefore, it is time to ask your self a few questions.

1. Will you be using a device most to to write, sketch, or edit video?
2. Do you use Microsoft Word or Microsoft Office daily?
3. Are you a big gamer?
4. Will you watch TV, Sports, or Movies from your device?
5. Do you like to customize your homepage, interface, social widgets on your device?
6. Do you open multiple windows at once?
7. Although you have a computer do you still like to write things down?

If you answered YES to most of the questions then the Microsoft Surface 2 or Microsoft Surface Pro 3 may be just the right device for you. Im kind of obsessed with mine. This device is certainly not cheap, but well worth the investment, whether it is an investment in for your-self or a parent looking for a great gift to give.This device allows me to be the creative, innovative, social entrepreneur I want to be. I use this device for everything including researching new show topics, to hosting weekly Twitter Chats, and for writing new blogs, like right now! This device acts as a tablet or lab-top and is easily portable for traveling to the office or to class. Oh ya and did I mention, it takes fabulous pictures…Instagram material. Also, if you like to workout and are a foodie like me you will love the Food and Drink App. The Food and Drink App pre- installed on the device offers great recipes, workout routines, and a meal planner for free! Im loving it.
