Is the Next Generation Ready to Lead?

This week we have teamed up with The Bush Institute and The Catalyst,  a quarterly publication that operates from the belief that ideas matter. They shape public policies, spur action and lead to results. During this week’s #Millennialtalk chat, we are going to dive into topics like foreign policy, the next generation of political ideology, leadership, and social responsibility.

Kristen Soltis Anderson is author of The Selfie Vote: Where Millennials Are Leading America (And How Republicans Can Keep Up). She is a pollster and co-founder of Echelon Insights, a research and analytics firm. A columnist at the Washington Examiner and a Political Contributor at ABC. She was also one of TIME’s “30 Under 30 Changing the World” and has been featured as one of ELLE’s 2016 “Most Compelling Women in Washington”.

Phillip Lohaus is Executive Director of the American Internationalism Project and is a Research Fellow at the Marilyn Ware Center for Security Studies at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). In addition to organizing and coordinating a bipartisan network of senior national security leaders, Phillip served as the editor for the project’s seminal report, Why American Leadership Still Matters. He also leads the project’s millennial outreach efforts, and has spoken at college campuses across the country.

Brittney Bain serves as a communications manager for the George W. Bush Presidential Center, with a specific focus on the Bush Institute’s Education Reform initiative, the Women’s Initiative, and the Presidential Leadership Scholars program. Prior to joining the Bush Center, she worked on Capitol Hill where she served most recently as deputy press secretary for the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary.

Shinjini Das is a Keynote Speaker, Media Personality, Huffington Post Contributor, Brand Spokesperson, and Engineer. An empowering and a globally recognized versatile talent, she has been featured on ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, and Sirius XM. Shinjini was invited to moderate a panel at The Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations Headquarters in March 2016 in recognition of her international advocacy efforts as a Global Hero to promote gender equality and youth empowerment.
