It’s easy to question ourselves and our worth during this challenging time... -The shift happens when you acknowledge your value. -When we realize old ways won’t open new doors. -When you say “no” to what doesn’t lift you. -When you eliminate those that drain you. -When you stop striving for perfection. -When you stop seeking others validation. -When you stop pushing at the point of burn out. -When you trust your gut and listen to your “why.” While we may have to be nimble or pivot during this time, just remember to honor yourself and your worth. When Life Get's Blurry Adjust Your Focus.🌷 Some days you wake up feeling energized & inflow & other days it feels like everything is out of focus & a challenge. On the days where it felt like everything was a challenge, I used to push & push my way through it, until I realized that I was 100% working against myself continuing to work that way. Can you relate? So instead, here is how I refocus: 1. Evaluate & Eliminate: Ask yourself if your actions are contributing to your goals. Give yourself permission to be selective in what you choose to do. Learning to say “no” even when it’s uncomfortable could be just what you need to do right now. 2. Give Yourself Space & RESET: Sometimes when we are looking so hard for the answer the best thing we can do is actually step away. Running on fumes never = clear thinking. As we go through life, especially challenging times like this, priorities will always evolve & shift. It’s important to give yourself the opportunity to reset mentally & physically. Establish Balance With Baby Steps: Focus your energy less on the total outcome or end game & more on the day-to-day tasks necessary to reach that outcome. Tap Into Your Senses: SOUND: Ambient noise is an important variable that affects creativity. I ♥️ listening to nature sounds, mediation music, or just music instrumentals while working. Songs with words tend to be distracting & I find myself singing the words instead of thinking my own thoughts. SMELL: Certain smells stimulate your focus & energy like Rosemary, Peppermint, 🍋, Grapefruit & Eucalyptus. You just never know where a conversation could lead! At the end of last year, my desire to help Entrepreneurs & go-getters crush fear and get out of their own way motivated me to pick up the phone & call my sister-in-law, Marisa Hughes, trauma therapist and intuitive healer. GOODBYE. ADIOS. SHALOM. HASTA LA VISTA I loveeeee this moment. In this video 20 beautiful women sat in a sharing circle where we let down our walls, we listened to each other, we supported each other, and we literally put our negative thoughts into a trash bin and put a lid on it.🗑 It felt like a victory seeing all of those negative thoughts in the trash and sealing it shut. But, of course, thoughts (good & bad) will always come and go. Like this morning, I woke up a little foggy, so I started with writing down what I wanted to release and where I wanted to take action. It feels really good to write thoughts/things down, especially now like: -Writing a to do or action list, or... -Writing in a gratitude journal, or... -Writing a letter to your best self or a loved one, or... -Doodling poetry or song lyrics, or...(I wish I was good) -OR Try writing out what’s bothering you and having a little trash ceremony to create room for thoughts and things that lift you during this time.🔥 After I burn something I love to take my sage stick and clear the energy.✨ These simple actions are bringing me clarity and making me feel a bit more in control during this time of uncertainty. BUTTTT YUP, I’m missing social interaction and the feeling of being in this sharing circle.
