Who is Michel Falcon?
In 2004, I enrolled in university to earn my bachelor’s degree. For the first two years, I struggled and barely passed my courses. In fact, I failed my first economics class and possibly another one I can’t remember.
Amongst other things, I struggled because my social life exceeded the effort I was putting forth in school. After my second year, I was barely passing my classes, I defaulted on my car loan and I was in serious debt. On the surface I was beat up but even worse than that I was broken inside. I was completely lost in what I wanted to achieve in life. I didn’t know what success was or felt like. I knew something needed to change.
Although, I didn’t know what direction I wanted to go in, I did know that I wanted to learn how to build businesses. That was my passion but I did not know how to turn this vague and undescriptive passion into something that was actionable.
After receiving advice from my grandfather, I postponed university and went out to find a company that was an entrepreneurial success story that I could contribute to and learn from. After six years of contributing to the success of this recognizable company and 1000’s of hours of independent and collaborative learning, I am now a six figure consultant and travel the world ¬speaking at business conferences.
In this six post series, I’m going to share with you the struggles I faced, how I overcame them and how you can achieve the same happiness I’m experiencing today. Regardless of whether your passion is business, stamp collecting, yoga or archeology, what I’m going to share with you is all relevant and with some hard work you can achieve whatever success means to you.
Please know that I had zero advantages. I did not come from a wealthy family, I’m sure my IQ test would not say I’m a genius and I was $10,000’s in debt. What I did have was a crazy work ethic that could go head to head with anyone.
I promise that this series won’t be a kumbaya session. It’s going to be raw, very straight forward and most importantly; actionable. It took me six years to go from someone who was in massive debt to traveling the world to work with some of the world’s largest and recognizable brands. I believe that if you follow my guidance you can reach your goals in three years or less. If you have any questions along the way, please comment below and I’ll be sure to respond to every question.
The first post within the series is titled “How to take what You Love and Make that Your Foundation”.” I hope to see you again.
Michel.
