What Will Our Generation Be the #Last2See?

When Rotary set out to end polio more than 25 years ago, there were over 350,000 cases of this crippling disease every year. Children in 125 countries lost their ability to run, walk and play–forever. Since then, we’ve eradicated 99% of this devastating disease. The end is so close we can see it. Our generation will be the last to see many things, including the crippling effects of polio. What else will your generation be the #Last2See? Check out what I think we will be the #Last2See below!!

  1. Thanks so much for including us. I think we are an important example of a lesiban couple. Many times, the press will only print overweight unattractive intimidating gay women exclusively. Many people aren’t aware of the feminine gay women because they are not obvious, and for many unexposed Americans, the harder looking gay women are frightening and unapproachable. I believe harsh attitudes towards lesbians can change when a true variety of what a lesbian looks like is presented.

  2. Brillant article. I’m 75 years young, recently took on learning soial media marketing for my on-line business. Every day I marvel at how much has happened in my lifetime, what chances will take place. A fitting quote ” As the World Turns”.

I can see living without yellow cabs, paper money, house phones, and poloio, but to lose great people and holocaust survivors- that is truly a lose to our future generations.
